About
the Jacksonville Club
WELCOME
to the Tulane Jacksonville website. Thanks for your interest in
our Chapter of the Tulane Alumni Association.
The
Tulane Club of Jacksonville is an active group of local alumni in
the Jacksonville, South Georgia and North Florida area who gather
for social, educational and cultural activities. We also share with
you Tulane and New Orleans related material through the use of our
e-mail list. We have about 438 alumni in our area, and when including
"parents and friends," we have 638 people, of which 81 are on our
e-mail list.
The
e-mail list is the most effective and efficient way to communicate
with our fellow Alums in the Jacksonville area. Please sign up and
you will be assured that you are kept up to date on all upcoming
events in the Jacksonville area and kept informed of all Tulane
related information.
The
Club is a constituent member of the Tulane Alumni Association (TAA).
Founded in 1898, TAA provides a forum for meaningful involvement
and interaction among the university's 105,000 alumni, its students,
and university leaders.
In
recent years our events have included crawfish boils, Mardi Gras
Parties, football and basketball game viewing parties, Tables-for
Eight dinner parties, happy hours and numerous other events.
We
look forward to getting to know you. Activities of the club are
planned and organized by local alumni with the assistance of the
Tulane Office of Alumni Affairs, so your ideas and your help are
always welcome. Please contact either John Mahoney at jaytee1058@aol.com
or Christian Lisowski at clisowski@msn.com if you would like to
become involved.
