1/2/03--Student Ice Skating Party at Crown Center Ice Terrace--sponsored by Zahid Nana (parent of Taimoor (B'02) & Sasha (junior).

12/10/02--Joe Hoagland (A&S'70 & parent of Dirck (senior)) spoke about his experiences at Tulane and the political paths he & fraternity brothers have taken, highlighting the value of his education at Tulane. Jeff Bush, Director of the Annual Fund, also spoke about what is going on at Tulane.

11/12/02--Dan Maginn (Arch'89) of el dorado, inc., spoke about recent projects his firm has designed, including Willoughby Design Barn...a project completed last year. It recently won an Honor Award for Architectural Design from the KC chapter of the AIA (the only honor award given this year). It is on the front cover of November 2002's Ingram's magazine.

10/17/02--Happy Hour hosted by Merissa Rittmaster (N'01)

10/8/02--Al Mauro, Jr. (L'92) of Hallmark Cards spoke about copyright and trademark laws.

9/19/02--Happy Hour hosted by Merissa Rittmaster (N'01)

9/10/02--Vincent Gauthier (UC'85) of Urban Couer LLC spoke on urban restoration & preservation. early Sept.-KC Tulane Club sent care packages to area freshmen.

8/9/02 -- Hometown Party for local freshmen entering Tulane held at home of Marcia & Zahid Nana, parents of Tulanians Taimoor (B'02) & Sasha (junior).

7/9/02-- Local KC students Kavitha Dileepan (N'03), Dirck Hoagland (A&S'03), and recent graduate Taimoor Nana (B'02) told alums and incoming freshmen "how it is now" at Tulane at the Tulane Club of Kansas City's monthly luncheon on 7/9/02. They articulately painted a picture of life on campus for students-both in the classroom and outside of it. It was an impressive look at the caliber of Tulane's students today & made us proud of our local talent.
