Dallas - Earth Day Texas

Service Opportunity – Join the Tulane Alumni Club of Dallas at Earth Day Texas

For the third year in a row, our Tulane Alumni Club of Dallas will help fill volunteer needs during one shift at the two-day, outdoor Earth Day Texas festival. Join us on the morning of Sunday, April 27, from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. as we help support the largest Earth Day celebration in the state.

Our roles (dependent on the number of volunteers) are most likely to include assistance at the tree climbing exhibition – this is an activity geared at children where we would be assisting Earth Day Texas staff in harnessing/unharnessing participants – and as information booth guides.

Volunteers will be briefed on their roles the morning of arrival, and lunch is provided for all Earth Day Texas volunteers. Parking details will be emailed out to all registered prior to the event.

All hours worked will count towards a Tulane Alumni Club of Dallas group submission to the Cowen Service Challenge currently underway. More information on the university's commitment to community service can be found here: http://tulane.edu/service-challenge/report_hours.cfm
