Previously, Mike was the Global Asset Management Director for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Sustainment Operations in Fort Worth, TX. Mike joined Lockheed Martin in 2018 after six years with Northrop Grumman.

On June 1, 2020, Kristopher Kest, Esq., began his year as the elected president of the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, Inc. for 2020-2021. The Legal Aid Society provides quality legal services for the low-income residents, the working poor, children, and disadvantaged groups with legal needs in Orange County, Florida. Kristopher is the owner of Kest Family Law, P.A., and practices exclusively marital and family law in Orlando. In May of 2019, Mike became Executive Director of Middle Georgia Justice, a non-profit that was started to help people in middle Georgia get legal assistance when they can't afford it. Mike is the first Executive Director in the history of this non-profit start-up.

ALEXANDRIA, Louisiana (October 1, 2019): A formal Investiture ceremony for United States Bankruptcy Judge Stephen D. Wheelis was held on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the United States Bankruptcy Court in Alexandria, LA. Chief Judge S. Maurice Hicks, Jr. of the U.S. District Court, Western District of Louisiana, presided over the ceremony. Chief Judge Carl E. Stewart of the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals delivered remarks and administered the Oath to Judge Wheelis.

Judge Wheelis was appointed by the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals on April 25, 2019 to serve as a Bankruptcy Judge for the United States Bankruptcy Court, Western District of Louisiana at Alexandria and Monroe. Judge Wheelis fills a vacancy created by the transfer of Judge John W. Kolwe to Lafayette and succeeds Judge Robert R. Summerhays as a Bankruptcy Judge.

Judge Wheelis received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1985 from Tulane University School of Law and his B.A. in Legal Studies from Northeast Louisiana University (now ULM) in 1981. He was born in West Monroe, Louisiana and attended West Monroe High School.

Prior to his appointment, he was a shareholder of Wheelis & Rozanski, APLC, in Alexandria for over 20 years and initially practiced as a partner with Provosty, Sadler & deLaunay in Alexandria for 14 years prior to forming Wheelis & Rozanski

Phillip Buhler

After practicing maritime law in Florida and Louisiana for some 30 years, in 2017 Phil served as a lecturer in US civil procedure and intermodal transportation law at the Universitat zu Koeln (Cologne, Germany). In 2018-19 he was a lecturer in maritime law at the Universitat Hamburg. He has now moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia to begin a PhD in maritime law at Dalhousie University, focused on regulation of commercial vessels under the Polar Code. He remains a shareholder in his Florida firm and active in several international maritime legal organizations.
Ken Rohman has been named Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Wind Creek Hospitality, overseeing global marketing operations for the organizations ten (10) casinos and resorts throughout North America and the Caribbean. He and his family are relocating to the gulf coast of Alabama near the corporate headquarters in Escambia County.

She provides clinical services at an agency participating in the Thurston-Mason County Behavioral Health Organization, and has also opened a small private clinical practice in nearby Tacoma, Washington.

Kate Brunner (Cat Murphy - N '00) recently joined the Growing Readers Together Expansion Team at the Colorado State Library as the Regional Literacy Specialist for the Southern Region. Kate also works as the Children's Services Manager at Pine River Library. She is currently pursuing her MA/LIS at University of Wisconsin - Madison's iSchool.

Bob's newest novel, The Secret Life of Mr Cunningham, has received great reviews and is now available on Amazon and Kobo. Bob teaches Environmental Law and Policy at Flagler College and his new three book environmental mystery series is scheduled for release in July 2019.
