Alumni Award Nominations

Each year, the Tulane Alumni Association Board of Directors honors the diverse talents and accomplishments of Tulane alumni in their personal and professional endeavors as well as their service and philanthropic commitment to Tulane and our community. Dating back to 1973, honorees have been celebrated at an annual awards gala, which has been hosted at the National World War II Museum since 2014. The TAA relies on Tulane alumni, faculty, staff, and friends to nominate qualified candidates for each award, who are then selected by a committee of the TAA Board of Directors.

Please read the awards criteria and eligibility requirements before making your nominations. A candidate may be nominated for more than one award category, and the Awards Committee reserves the right to grant an award for which the candidate has not been nominated. While nominations may be submitted at any time throughout the year, March 15th at 11:59 p.m. Central time is the annual deadline for nominations to be considered for the following year’s awards.

Awards Eligibility:
  • Nominees must be an alumnus/alumna of Tulane University unless otherwise indicated in individual award’s additional criteria.
  • Nominees should exhibit future potential to serve as a Tulane University volunteer, donor and/or advocate.
  • The recipient must be in attendance at the designated ceremony in order to receive the award.
  • Current Tulane Alumni Association Board of Directors and ex officio representatives are not eligible to receive awards. Any nomination shall be deferred until the first year after their term concludes and can be considered for the next three years. To see a list of current board members, please click here.
