Jeanne Mckay

Jeanne McKay (SW *00): received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Loyola University and a Master of Social Work from Tulane University. Ms. McKay is the Executive Director for the American Diabetes Association for Louisiana and Mississippi. She also currently serves on the Tulane Alumni Association Board of Directors.
 


 

Philip Krause

Philip Krause (PHTM '13, PHTM *15) is a Specialist Senior at Deloitte, where he leads integration and transformation initiatives that expand access to care across the Veterans Health Administration. His career has spanned roles at Booz Allen Hamilton, Ochsner Health Network, LSU, Tulane Medical Group, and multiple federal health–focused consultancies, all centered on improving how patients navigate complex systems through technology, design, and operational innovation. Phil is the past president of the Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine Alumni Association Board of Directors and now serves as the Public Health Representative and Student Outreach Chair on the Tulane University Alumni Association Board, helping deepen mentorship and connection between students and alumni.

A proud Mid-City New Orleanian since his Tulane days, Phil lives with his husband, their three children, and two dogs, Ponce and Tchoup. He’s an avid home cook, devoted traveler, and lover of all things water—from boating to Gulf Coast beach weekends. Phil is thrilled to host students for this inaugural mega Tulane Table, one of the signature initiatives of the Student Outreach Committee, and looks forward to a warm, engaging evening rooted in connection, storytelling, and the spirit of the Tulane community.
 


 

Jennifer Mills

Jennifer Mills (NC '01): Jennifer Mills is an Obesity Medicine Specialist and General Internist with Washington Internist Group, where she has practiced since 2010 and focused on weight management and exercise prescription since 2015. She previously served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at MedStar Health after completing her residency there.

Dr. Mills earned her M.D. from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University with a BFA in Music Performance. She is an active Tulane alumna and currently serves as President of the Tulane Alumni Association Board of Directors (2024–2025).
 


 

Jon Warkentin

Jonathan Warkentin (B '07): Jon Warkentin is a Managing Director and Global Investment Specialist at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where he advises ultra-high-net-worth families, endowments, and foundations on investment strategies across asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and alternatives. Over his 18-year career with J.P. Morgan, Jon has held leadership roles in New York and Denver, helping clients achieve financial, philanthropic, and personal goals through tailored planning.

A Denver native, Jon earned his B.S.M. in Finance from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business, graduating cum laude. He remains deeply engaged with Tulane as a member of its national alumni board and past president of the Tulane Alumni Association. Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, Jon brings a global perspective shaped by his studies in Brazil. Outside of work, he is an avid skier, marathon runner, and longtime attendee of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
 


 

Michael Arata

Michael Arata (A&S '89, L *92) has spent the past 35 years developing new industries and creating new businesses in a wide range of fields, including film and television production, disaster recovery and remediation, solar power, complex environmental litigation, and the mad world of college athletics. He established a successful law practice in 1993, representing large corporate clients and small "mom and pop" businesses in complex environmental litigation, as well as a thriving practice focusing on the needs of startup businesses and new technology companies. Mr. Arata incorporated significant public service into his law practice, focusing on the needs of veterans, the homeless, and the neediest in his community of New Orleans, Louisiana. In 2012, he helped create PROJECT HOPE and worked with the area's poorest performing elementary schools and organized legal aid, medical care, eye and hearing testing, and mental health care for the students and their parents.

In 2021, Michael teamed up with fellow former Tulane student-athletes Jimmy Ordeneaux and Kelly Comarda to form Fear the Wave Collective. Through their efforts, Fear the Wave became a leader in the evolving world of college athletics and helped propel Tulane football to 4 consecutive conference championships, consistent national rankings, and a spot in the 2026 College Football Playoffs.

Mr. Arata is also an award-winning film and television producer, having produced and financed over 30 films and television shows which have been acquired and distributed by Sony Pictures, MGM, NBC, Lionsgate, PBS, and many others. He is currently working on several feature films and two sports-related reality-television series.

Mr. Arata is a graduate of Tulane University, where he was a starting member of the football team under Hall of Fame Coach Mack Brown, is a graduate of Tulane School of Law, and serves on the Tulane Alumni Association Board of Directors. He is married to Emily Arata, and they have two sons in high school.
 


 

Namrata Gupta

Namrata Gupta (Architecture '97) is the Chief Operating Officer of LA-based skincare services and product brand, Face Haus. With her creative education & career background as a business developer, brand specialist, and marketing strategist, she has extensive experience in the personal care, hospitality, and retail industries. In previous business roles, she worked with globally respected businesses to expand their brand vision and tell their stories, including Bliss Spa & Hotel, Jones the Grocer, Carol's Daughter, and Ananda in the Himalayas.

Her passion lies with mentorship and organizational development, and when not managing a 200-person business, you'll find her throwing clay on her potter's wheel, crafting towards becoming a ceramicist.
 


 

Frederick Bell

Frederick Bell (SLA '20): Frederick Bell is a political and community strategist dedicated to protecting democracy, advancing clean energy, and promoting impact investing. He currently serves as Associate Director of State Climate Policy at the Center for American Progress, where he works with subnational governments to lead on clean energy, good jobs, and climate resilience.

Previously, Frederick founded Ring The Bell Consulting, advising campaigns and organizations on political strategy and voter engagement. His experience includes leadership roles in statewide and local campaigns, including serving as State Director for Delaware’s 2024 coordinated campaign and managing a successful D.C. Council race.


A Climatebase Fellow and active volunteer leader, Frederick chairs SigmaPAC 1914 and serves on the Tulane Alumni Association Board of Directors. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from Tulane University and studied political communication at Louisiana State University.
 


 

Stephanie Wall

Stephanie Ann Quintero Wall (B '12, B *12): Stephanie Quintero is a Senior Manager at Deloitte with over seven years of experience in tax and advisory services, specializing in corporate strategy and compliance. Before joining Deloitte, she worked as a Senior Tax Accountant at Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP, where she advised privately held businesses and high-net-worth individuals on complex tax and financial matters.

Stephanie holds a J.D. with a Corporate Law Certificate from Brooklyn Law School and a Master of Accounting from Tulane University. She is actively engaged in her community, serving on the Tulane Alumni Association Board of Directors and contributing to public policy initiatives through the Junior League of Denver.
 


 

Millibeth Currie

Millibeth Currie (N’89, Loyola M.S. ’90) is a science educator, founder/program director of Women in Charge: Engineering Women’s Lives, a nationally board-certified teacher in the area of Early Adolescence Science, and a member of the Tulane Alumni Association Board of Directors.

Millibeth’s career in education has been filled with innovation and mentoring. Her long-standing passion for workforce issues through mentoring led to the creation and development of the STEM program Women in Charge: Engineering Women’ s Lives to support adolescent girls in discovering their potential in science, technology, engineering, and math careers. Her work has meaningfully connected young scholars to stakeholders in industry and STEM research. She currently serves as the Program Director for the organization as well as the School of Education Assessment Coordinator at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga.

Currie’s leadership has been recognized by many. She was named Charleston County Teacher of the Year, subsequently became a finalist again and received Teacher of the Year recognition for two middle schools where she taught. She was awarded the National Digital Innovation in Learning “Community Counts” award by EdSurge and Digital Promise for engaging the whole community. The Women in Charge program was named as one of the top twenty by the Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Curious Classroom competition. Ms. Currie was awarded the Teacher of the Year by the South Carolina Charleston Air Force Association for demonstrating sustained, outstanding dedication to ensuring that America’s students are prepared for aerospace technological challenges of the future. She was recently named Super Star Educator for the Charleston County School District Middle School Learning Community, followed by receiving the WE Teacher Award for going above and beyond for her students. Most recently, in 2024, she was named South Carolina STEM Educator of the Year.

An active Tulane alumna, Millibeth serves on the Tulane Alumni Association Board of Directors as President-Elect and has served as the Career Services chair, and worked on the student Outreach, Awards, and Nominations committees, while also participating in the student mentor program, Tulane Table. She was a presenter at the Tulane Alumni Association Leadership Women Making Waves conference, awarded the Newcomb Alumni Community Service Award in2018 and the Newcomb Alumni Association Under the Oaks Award for Educators in 2024. She believes Tulane widened her reach and offered many new opportunities. Newcomb College programs and Tulane courses pushed her forward to take on new roles while at Tulane. Tulane introduced ideas and knowledge of other cultures, authors, and world leaders. Meeting Shirley Chisholm and getting to hear her ideas on women’s rights only fueled her passion to advocate for the cause throughout her life.

David and Chesney Loeb

David (A&S '74, L *77 P - SW *26) & Chesney Loeb are both New Orleans natives. Chesney has a bachelor's degree from UNO, and some graduate work there, and David has a BA (1974) and a JD (1977) from Tulane.  After graduating from the Tulane School of Law, David joined the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office, where he was a trial assistant until 1985. He then went into private practice, where he remained until the end of 2016, when he retired from the practice of law. While in private practice, David was primarily engaged in land use law and automobile dealership law. In addition to his law practice, David has also engaged in various businesses, including real estate development and investment, and automobile dealerships.

Chesney taught middle school math and English for many years in both the independent and parochial school systems in the New Orleans area.

Chesney and David have two children and two grandchildren. Their son, Paul, is currently a graduate student at Tulane. They enjoy traveling, sailing, skiing, and entertaining friends and family at their home (a converted 1917 firehouse) on the Mardi Gras parade route.

Alice and William Wright

Alice (NC '72) & William (Bill) Wright (A&S '71, L *74); two children - a son who lives in Houston and a daughter who lives in NO; two grandchildren.

Alice: Retired. Spent most of her career as a fundraiser, serving as Director of Development at Trinity Episcopal School, Director of Annual Giving at A.B. Freeman School of Business, Interim Director of Development at Tulane Law School, and as a fundraising consultant. In conjunction with that work, she served on the board and as president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Prior to her fundraising career, she served in several capacities in the tourism industry.

Community Activities: Throughout her life, she has been a community activist, serving on various boards, including the Junior League of New Orleans (President), Kingsley House, now Clover (President), Reconcile, Inc. (President), Louise S. McGehee School, and Grace at the Greenlight. She also established a feeding program, Loaves & Fishes, for Trinity Episcopal Church after Hurricane Katrina.
Hobbies: bridge, canasta, caring for granddaughters, and travel.

Bill: Retired. Practiced law in New Orleans, specializing in commercial litigation and professional liability defense; he most recently worked with Deutsch Kerrigan, LLP, where he served as section head and member of the managing committee. Active in professional associations, serving on the boards of local and state bars and as Chair of an ABA committee on professional liability.

Community Activities: served on the boards of various organizations, including New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity (president), Louisiana Bar Foundation, Community Sailing New Orleans, Louise S. McGehee School, Trinity Episcopal Church, and Southern Yacht Club (Commodore).

Hobbies: sailing, sailboat race management, bridge, food distribution volunteer, and travel.

Stephanie and Michael Fitzpatrick

Michael K. Fitzpatrick (A&S '68, L *71) is a proud two-time Tulane graduate, earning his B.A. from Tulane University in 1968 and his J.D. from Tulane Law School in 1971. He has practiced law in New Orleans for more than five decades, building a career grounded in integrity, judgment, and a deep commitment to his clients and community. Michael credits his Tulane education with shaping how he thinks about problem-solving, ethical leadership, and service. In addition to his vibrant law practice, Michael has developed real estate and self-storage facilities. He and his wife, Stephanie, are longtime supporters of the university and enthusiastic advocates for the next generation of Tulanians. He is especially delighted to host this dinner, reconnect with campus through today’s students, and hear about the paths they are forging for the future.

Dr. Stephanie Fitzpatrick is a lifelong learner and leader whose career spans education, corporate leadership, and organizational transformation. She earned her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from the University of Pennsylvania and has served as Chief Learning Officer and Chief Talent Officer for Fortune 500 companies, where she has championed inclusive, human-centered leadership and the development of people at every level.

Donald chancellor

Dr. Chancellor Donald (R *07, F *10) is the Councillor in Clinical Practice for the American Society of Hematology. He currently holds the position of Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine and serves as Medical Director of Tulane Cancer Management and Oncology Services at University Medical Center in New Orleans. He is also A faculty member at the Louisiana Cancer Research Center in the Population Sciences Program. His academic focus is advocacy and health disparities regarding patients with hematologic disorders and malignancy. He previously cared for patients in a community practice at Lourdes Oncology Associates in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Dr. Donald is the Chief Medical Officer of Taking Aim at Cancer in Louisiana. The effort aims to improve the cancer outcomes of citizens of the state. As a lead, Dr. Donald engages and builds consensus with key stakeholders. In this role, he guides and aligns strategies and champions policies aimed at improving measurable cancer care metrics in Louisiana.

Originally from Gretna, Florida, Dr. Donald attended Florida A&M University for undergraduate studies and graduated magna cum laude. He then attended the University of Miami School of Medicine for his medical degree. He completed his internship, residency, and fellowship at Tulane University. He was selected as Chief Resident and Chief Fellow during his training.

In 2010, he joined Louisiana Oncology Associates, PMC, and became President of the practice in 2014. Dr. Donald would subsequently serve as a lead in crafting a professional service agreement with Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. While at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, he functioned as Medical Director of the oncology service line, a Member of the Medical Executive Committee and as a Trustee on the Board of Directors at that institution. In 2013, he was given the Spirit of Hope Award by the American Cancer Society.

Dr. Donald was awarded the Exemplary Service Award by the American Society of Hematology in 2022. He is the immediate past Chair of the Committee on Practice for the American Society of Hematology. He also holds the position of the American Society of Hematology’s delegate to the American Medical Association’s House of Delegates and alternate to the AMA CPT Editorial Advisory Committee.

In 2022, Dr. Donald was selected for the Government Relations Committee for the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He was recognized as an Advocacy Champion by ASCO in 2020, 2022 and 2024. Since 2012, he has served as the Hematology Representative for Louisiana for the Medicare Carrier Advisory Committee (CAC). Additionally, he is the vice president of the Medical Executive Committee at the University Medical Center in New Orleans. He
also serves on the American Board of Internal Medicine’s Hematology Examination Approval Committee and maintains current ABIM certification in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology.

Mckay, Ferguson, Vorhoff

CYNTHIA “TIA” FERGUSON (E '89): Ms. Ferguson retired in 2025 from NASA, where she served her last 7 years as the Director of the Space Systems Department in the Engineering Directorate at MSFC. Ms. Ferguson led approximately 600 civil servants and contractor to develop flight hardware and software for human spaceflight, science and new technology missions, including software for Space Launch System (SLS), Environmental Control and Life Support Systems (ECLSS) hardware for the International Space Station (ISS), telescope optics for Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE), solar sails and other space systems. Ms. Ferguson earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Tulane University and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). She was with NASA for 35 years.

Jeanne McKay(SW *00): received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Loyola University and a Master of Social Work from Tulane University. Ms. McKay is the Executive Director for the American Diabetes Association for Louisiana and Mississippi. She also currently serves on the Tulane Alumni Association Board of Directors. 

Robert “Bob” Vorhoff (E '72, B *77), earned his B.S. in Engineering from Tulane University in 1972 on an NROTC scholarship and later completed his MBA in Accounting and Finance at Tulane in 1977. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi and was active in Delta Kappa Epsilon.

Bob served as a U.S. Navy officer from 1972 to 1976, including as Assistant Supply Officer on the commissioning crew of USS Miller (DE1091), and continued in the Naval Reserve until 1982, achieving the rank of LCDR. His civilian career began at KPMG, where he became a Tax Partner specializing in financial institutions and family financial planning. He later joined Laitram Corporation as Director of Corporate Planning, also serving as Interim General Manager for Industrial Microwave Systems. From 2016 to 2018, he operated Vorhoff CPAs.

A dedicated Tulane alumnus, Bob is a past president of both the Tulane Alumni Association and the Tulane Association of Business Alumni, served on the Tulane Board of Administrators, and was honored as Alumni Volunteer of the Year and Accounting Graduate of the Year. He is also deeply involved with St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church, where he has held leadership roles including Deacon, Elder, and Chair of multiple committees. Born and raised in New Orleans, Bob comes from a proud Tulane family—both parents served as presidents of their respective alumni associations.

Gerard Bowen

Gerard Bowen (PHTM *05): Born and raised in New Orleans. 1989 graduate of East Jefferson H.S., B.S. in Kinesiology and Athletic Training from Washington State in 1999. MHA from Tulane in 2005. Currently work as a Veterans Paralegal for the state of Louisiana, assisting veterans and dependents in appealing VA benefits claims they disagree with. Perform in the American Legion band and the East Jefferson HS alumni band. Son, Max, plays in the EJ band currently and is looking into joining the Tulane band for next school year.
